Contrasts at the beach
A beautiful tranquil evening at Crosby beach on Monday evening, still air and reflective water, the colours of the sky perfectly mirrored in the pools of water left by the receding tide.
Below, the scene a couple a couple of days earlier, as sails of rain sweep across the sky, blurring the horizon, the sea foaming white, driven by a strong north west wind. The clouds beyond the storm glowing orange in the last rays of light spreading through the atmosphere from a just set sun.

Actor and Film Director, David Morrissey loves the Iron Men and gave a special screening of his film "Don't Worry About Me" at the Crosby Plaza Community Cinema on 2nd December. This film features several scenes shot with the iron men on Crosby beach and David was delighted to see them captured in photographs in the calendar.
